LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A duo was arrested Friday in connection with the theft of two frozen drinks in northeast Lincoln, according to court documents.

Around 9 p.m., two teenagers were walking near 84th and Adams streets when a vehicle pulled up next to them.

The driver, Ashton Hussman, 18, pointed a “realistic” BB gun at the teens and demanded they hand over money, according to an arrest affidavit.

The victims gave up their frozen drinks, which they had just purchased at nearby Casey’s, as well as an iPhone, the affidavit states.

During an investigation, officers identified Hussman and a passenger in the vehicle, Scott Koenig, 18, as suspects in the theft.

Inside Hussman’s vehicle, officers found two BB guns and a blue stain, which was “probably from the blue raspberry slushie,” police said.

They also discovered several bottles of rum and vodka, according to the affidavit.

Hussman was arrested on suspicion of theft. Koenig was arrested on suspicion of aiding and abetting a Class 2 felony.
